Thinktiv has been a partner of Prysm since early 2008, prior to their Series B funding. Prysm approached us to help them visualize the ideas behind the technology they were creating. As a new technology with a variety of potential applications and a novel way of illuminating a display, Prysm needed the support of a visual thinking team to turn theories and language into graphic explanations that could clearly communication the capabilities of the technology and bypass language barriers common to the technology sales space when selling internationally.
From this initial relationship, thinktiv helped Prysm to initially go to market under a working title brand called "Spudnik" as we worked together to define and deliver what is now Prysm, Inc.
Thinktiv continues to provide ongoing support for all the brand, sales and marketing initiatives of Prysm and is proud to have them as a Thinktiventures company.
While developing the brand identity for Prysm, the company still needed to get out and communicate with potential clients. To support that need, Thinktiv worked with Prysm to develop a codename brand called "Spudnik." This allowed the sales team to attract a range of international customer reaching al the way to South East Asian and European regions.
Following the brand articulation process, Thinktiv worked with Prysm to select a name and define a brand. This process involved extensive ideation and creation to find the right name and logotype combination for the company. once selected, Thinktiv worked to develop a graphic standard for the brand.
Timed with the launch of their groundbreaking LPD Solution, Thinktiv designed and developed a comprehensive web presence for the company. The website provides information about the core technology, the product, the company and the ecovative position that drives the team. In addition, the site is flush with images that show the potential of the product through standalone images and environments showing context.
