Attivio’s technology positioned them to compete and outperform the currently available enterprise search and business intelligence solutions, but their brand and MarCOMM strategy didn’t tell the right story. It failed to reflect the advanced features of the core product and the unique personality of the organization. Ultimately without a cohesive, current and contemporary brand, they couldn’t compete with established players like Google, Fast/Microsoft and Autonomy.
During a 5 month long exploration and development cycle, Thinktiv helped Attivio articulate, create and deploy its new brand including a complete redo of their corporate website and new branded experience for their product Simple Search.
The largest of the Attivio initiatives was the development of a new corporate website. It was critical to the success of the brand to have a compelling and comprehensive web presence. It was also important that the site leveraged Attivio’s own Simple Search product and Active Intelligence Engine as its search platform of choice.
We’ve helped Attivio on a number of fronts in regard to its product design: Visual Interaction Design, Product Strategy and Front end development. The majority of our time has been focused on its showcase product, Simple Search. Simple search had a number of challenges associated with it.
